These sheets of wrapping paper are made from the highly sustainable Daphne plant, which grows high up in the Himalayas. Village co-ops collect the bark from the forest and make it into natural paper. The paper is brought to Kathmandu where is colored, silkscreen or batik blocked.

Giftsland is a family-owned business in Nepal that produces and distributes eco‑friendly, handmade paper products. Their speciality is Lokta paper, made from the bark of the Daphne (Lokta) plant, which is sustainably harvested and can regenerate after the bark is removed.
