Studio Carta was founded in 2004 by Angela Liguori, a Rome native. Based in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, the company partners with Italian artisan manufacturers—some of whom use techniques dating back to the 19th century—to produce its signature 100% cotton ribbons in Italy.
